Our in-house game “Shave & Stuff” was awarded a “Best in Play” title by the Game Developers Conference 2023 and was released on Meta Quest, Pico, and Steam.

Due to the rapid business expansion, we are looking for a Technical Artist to join us.

What are you working on?
  • Genres: Casual, Action
  • Platforms: VR
For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Create visual mockups and concepts;

  • Create Game ready assets of all kinds (Small props, environment, characters);

  • Texturize assets in an optimized way;

  • Prepare Unity prefabs with materials and colliders;

  • Create particle effects;

  • Prepare animations for characters (both humanoid and quadrupedal);

  • Prepare animations for environment objects;

  • Research new industry standards for asset creation; 

  • Participate in product game design brainstorm sessions;

  • Collaborate with a small team.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Excellent English knowledge;

  • Unity environment;

  • 3+ years of 3D modeling experience for games;

  • Strong 3D software skills (Blender, 3DsMax, or other);

  • Strong compositional skills;

  • Understanding  how to achieve a cartoony/stylized look;

  • Custom shader knowledge (by code or nodes);

  • Understanding animation pipeline (skinning, rigging, animating);

  • proficiency in achieving game feel with shapes, colors, fx, and animation;

  • Understanding game design principles.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding UI/UX; 

  • Topology optimization techniques;

  • Texture optimization techniques;

  • Video editing skills (Adobe or other);

  • Experience with Unity VR frameworks - XR Interaction Toolkit, VR Interaction Framework, Hurricane VR, AutoHands, or others.
