Middle PHP Developer

We are German outsourcing and outstaffing company that cooperates with leading European Customers in Information Technology, Customer Support, and E-commerce branches.

We are looking for a PHP Developer for a long-term project related to online shop creation for a customer company from Germany.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Support software based on Shopware 6

• Setting up interaction with other systems (Emarsys, JTL Wawi, Odoo, Trbo)

• Develop modules for Shop System backend

• Perform customized module and extension development within Shopware

• Enhance additional features in the plugins that you are already using

• Modify your already existing Shopware plugins as well as third-party ones

• Make third-party plugins compatible with the Shopware version that you are using

• Update and upgrade existing modules

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other relevant areas

• +3 years of Web Development in PHP

• 3+ years of experience working with PHP eCommerce CMS (Shopware, Magento, Open Cart, WooCommerce or any other)

• Experience with eCommerce concepts such as SKUs, variants, order processing flows is nice to have

• Experience working with Shopware 6

• Strong knowledge of MySQL

• Ability to work with version control systems (git);

• Ability to write own plugins

• Experience with creating, testing, consuming, and supporting APIs for web services;

• Confident with SOLID, TDD, KISS, YAGNI, and other industry-leading principles; Architectural, Enterprise, and Design Patterns

• Be familiar with Shopware Migration and Integration Solution

• Experience with software development life cycle and agile project management principles

As a plus:

• Experience with HTML/CSS

• Experience with SQL

• Spoken German
